My name is Sharmilla. I completed my RYT 200 Hatha Yoga teacher’s training at Ayur Yoga Eco-Ashram, Mysore. As a student of yoga I am deeply grateful for the wisdom & guidance that have been imparted to me by my teachers. My journey and inner growth through yoga in the recent years has helped me to grow stronger, to be more flexible and fearless, both on and off the mat.
Yoga inspires me to live each moment more mindfully. With this blessing and guidance , I embarked on my journey to share my passion with like minded students in my hometown . Thus begun my teaching ,sharing & guiding of the practice of yoga In Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
My practise and teachings are geared towards creating awareness on the benefits of mindful yoga asanas as a daily transformative practice.
My belief, “Yoga is the relationship that is built between the body, the mind and the breath. Yoga is creating space free from obstacles in your own body to live. Yoga is freedom and release.”
Hi there! My name is Vivien, and I am a Yoga Alliance UK registered Vinyasa Yoga teacher.
I am a proud Greek mama of two stinky cute boys, a Montessori trained teacher, a foodie and nature lover. Twinkly lights, fireworks and the smell of jasmine rocks my world! I am deeply in love with my family, kids, life, animals, actually all living things, roller-coasters, fairy stories, arts & crafts, going on forest adventures with my kids and anything and everyone that gets me moving and laughing out loud!
I am not bendy by nature. I have always been a tomboy. Running, swimming, skiing and playing tennis were my favorite sports when I was younger. Fifteen years ago, while living in London, I started to seriously practice yoga. Through my consistent yoga practice, I managed to wake up and extend my short, tight muscles. I have to work double hard to be able to touch my toes. Wait, what? Yes, really! However, I am in peace with my body now, my mind is not constantly screaming “you must get yourself in such and such asana”. I have learned to just go with the flow. Listen to my body, do the best I can and be happy when enough is enough.
Yoga gives me clarity. It allows me to stop and live, breath by breath. It gives me control when I feel I have none.
Yoga is not about being flexible in the body, it’s about being flexible in the mind.
Born and raised in Como, Martina is a traveller, a lover of good food and a great reader; her insatiable curiosity let her to approach Yoga. Over the years of practice she found out that this discipline really helps the mental and physical wellbeing and so she started to deepen her knowledge with workshops and especially with the teacher training program and now she goes on with the study with internships and daily practice.
Yoga has opened up a world that has allowed her to feel free, to listen to herself and to find an inner peace and a deeper mindfulness. Thanks to the teaching she shares with joy her experiences and the benefits of the practice that have given and continue to give her so much.
I was born and raised in Hamburg, Germany. Since I was a child I always loved to move and dance and be very active. I was on the yoga mat at a very early age and used to practice with my mom and I already loved it. Stopped practicising during my school years, I returned to yoga several years ago, after getting my Medical degree as a Dentist in 2003, and I was far from reaching my toes but going back to my yoga practice was such a joy. I love being on the mat, focusing on being present for myself, a self loving act. The moment I’m in allignement and I feel the energy flow throught my body is what has fueled my passion for yoga over the past years.
I have completed the 200 hours Yoga Teacher Training in India and was totally absorbed by this amazing experience. I love to do handstands, just about everywhere I am, I love the tree pose too and thinking that most of the yoga asanas represent animals and nature makes me happy. Practising yoga you get an idea of what if feels being a locust when you are in that pose and it challanges your mind to open up to new experiences.
I’m also a Hypnotherapist since 2005 Nlp practitioner (Neuro- Linguistic Programming) since 2007 and a Cranial sacral therapist since 2018.
Passionate about crystals, essential oils, singing Mantras and Shaminic work. And last but not least about cacao! I make raw chocolates and sing in ceremonies, and I play the cello.
Yoga has been in Emiliana’s life since her childhood, when her mother took her along when she went to practice with her Sivananda teacher. Ever since, yoga was a powerful sacred place where she could nourish and ressource herself. After growing up in Venezuela, she moved to Paris, France, where she studied and worked in the film industry, keeping always a yoga practice, trying different styles from Bikram, to Ashtanga Vinyasa, to Hatha. Feeling more and more attracted to this tradition, she finally started her training as a Hatha yoga teacher with the FFHY, and went on training with a 200 hour YTT in 2016, a 300 hour YTT in 2017, Prenatal and Afterbirth Yoga with De Gasquet method, and not as far as january 2020 she was back in India training with one of her teachers, Yogi Trupta.
Also very attached to the tradition and history behind yoga, she studies sanskrit and regularly takes courses on yoga philosophy. She likes being a student as much as she likes to transmit what she has experienced and learnt. Established since 2016 in south-west France, she teaches both in-person and online classes and workshops, as well as retreats. Her blog is also a way for her to share further with her students.
