Lake Como 2019

Last night Chandrika left for Delhi and with her departure the Lake Como Escape is officially over.

So many people traveled from around the world to participate to this retreat and I’m deeply grateful to each one of you. It was simply wonderful to have such a loving group that so easily integrated and was eager to embrace this time together. We were blessed with the presence of Swami Prabodh Chithanya that lead all our meditations and Vedanta classes and Chandrika for her yoga classes, both are amazing teachers and I cannot thank them enough for the precious time we shared together.

It was so special to have 3 generations of yoga students, from young ladies -thank you Meggie, Roos, Greta & Amélia to be with us – thank you to our wonderful Eliane, that traveled from Les Issambres to be here in Lake Como. She definitely proves that we are not defined by our age and she is a great inspiration to us all.

Thank you to Ezio Grandi for the wonderful exhibition, your photos of India are amazingly beautiful and they have fascinated all the clients of the Grand Hotel Imperiale. Thank you for your generosity to contribute to help Swami Danayanda’s Home in Haripad, Kerala.

Thank you to Mr Indrapal from the Namaste Restaurant in Como for cooking our wonderful Indian Dinner at Imperialino Restaurant.

Thank you to Elena Markova, President of the Como International Club for supporting the charity event to collect money for the Free Student Home in Kerala and for her graceful presence at the Indian Dinner.

Thank you Luka Zotti for your moment of pure relax during the meditative concert and for accompaning the Indian dinner.

All my gratitude and love goes to Umberto, husband and friend, for helping through all the organisation of this event, for being a constant source kindness and for being always there for me.

Last but not least thank you to my daughter Meggie for choosing me to be her mom, I’m really a lucky girl.
